Micki presentingSchools/districts may contract with the Minnesota Writing Project for workshops according to their needs, covering a variety of possible areas:

a.  Writing process—primary, intermediate, secondary
b.  Writing across the curriculum, intermediate, secondary
c.  Working with ESL students, elementary, secondary
d.  Conducting writing assessments
e.  Early literacy
f.  The reading-writing connection
g.  6-Traits writing instruction and assessment
h.  Reading strategies 6-12
i.   Embedding grammar instruction (teaching grammar in context)

Sessions are conducted by MWP experts and trained fellows.

Schools/Districts may purchase the services of MWP to assist in developing or evaluating district or building literacy programs.

institutional partnerships

Schools/districts investing in a two-year cooperative agreement with the Minnesota Writing Project are entitled to services at a discounted rate.  Institutions in a cooperative agreement may purchase additional services at the discounted rate beyond their initial payment during the agreement period.
